Quick Overview

Neptune high viscosity, flat diaphragm “V-Pumps” are designed to accurately meter viscous fluids up to 5000 cP such as polymers and other thick liquids.

Notes:
( 1) All Series 500-V pumps, except model 547-VS-N3, are priced with integrally mounted motor 1/3HP/1/115/60/TEFC as standard. 
(2) Model 547-VS-N3 is priced with integrally mounted motor 1/2HP/1/115/60/TEFC as standard.
(3) Flange mounted motors include flange adapters and adds 20 lbs. to shipping weight.
(4) If No Motor option is selected, must accept any 56c frame motor.
(5) Explosion proof motors meet the following class divisions: Class I: Groups C and D Div. I; Class II: Groups E, F and G Hazardous Locations.  
(6) Face [End] Mount explosion proof motors meet the following class divisions: 1/3 HP and ½ HP, Class I: Groups C and D Div. I; all other exp. motors, Group D only.
(7) All motors are 60Hz. Contact us directly for pricing on 50Hz motors.
(8) Cord option only available with 1/3 HP, 1 phase, 115 volt TE motor.

Product Description

Series 500-V features:

  • Handles moderate viscosity fluids.
  • Standard flat diaphragm.
  • Large internal porting with a large, single ball, suction check valve.
  • Capacities to 30 gph (113 lph) at 100 psi (8 kg/cm2).
  • Available in all 316SS with SS trim.
  • Electric or pneumatic stroke control options and variable speed drives.
  • Variable Oil By-pass™ stroke adjustment mechanism provides better valve performance than variable linkage designs.
  • Teflon® diaphragm withstands most chemicals.

Electric Stroke Length Control features:

  • Accepts 4-20 ma., 0-5 VDC, or other signals.
  • May be directly connected to 115V or 230V 1 Phase power.
  • Includes local manual override.
  • Includes local position indicator.
  • Includes 4-20 ma. position feedback/output.
  • Easily retrofitted to any Series 500 pump.

Variable Speed Drive features:

  • All models have one piece controller.
  • All units accept 4-20 ma. input. Signal follower included.
  • All controllers include ON/OFF, AUTO/MANUAL and SPEED ADJUST features.
  • For models SCR50, SCR75, VAC50, and VAC75 must add Flange Adapter when used with any Series 500 “dia-pump”.

Variable Oil By-pass™ stroke adjustment allows an adjustable time delay between the end of the suction stroke and the beginning of the discharge stroke. This delay permits the ball to seat fully before pumping resumes, even in the heaviest liquids, so that pumping accuracy remains high.
