This is an internal card that connects directly to the controller main board set. It allows for one-way communication to a building management system using LONWORKS protocols. The 2-KIN will monitor conductivity (or pH, or ORP depending on the controller), flow state (whether there is flow in the system), relay state (On or OFF), water meter inputs, and active alarms.

This card will not monitor any information from an external node connected to the controller through a NIN card. The 2KIN does not allow remote control or any part of the 2000e controller.
