BW3010 is a unique blend of water soluble neutralizing amines. BW3010 is blended to provide protection to extensive condensate collection systems spread over large areas where several steam pressure reducing stations may be encountered prior to steam utilization and ultimate condensation.

APPLICATION

BW3010 is used in steam condensate systems to inhibit carbon dioxide corrosion.  It may be applied in conjunction with other chemicals directly to the boiler, boiler feed line, or condensate receiver. It is the product of choice for large industrial systems with multiple pressure reducing stations. BW3010 may be USDA authorized for use in treating boiler feedwater where the steam produced is allowed to contact edible products.

DOSAGE & FEEDING

BW3010 dosage requirements are dependent on specific operational parameters and carbon dioxide content of the steam.  It may be fed continuously from shipping container, neat, or in dilute solutions to maintain a slightly alkaline pH in the condensate.

HANDLING & PRECAUTIONS

BW3010 is an alkaline formulation.  Use in adequate ventilation. Avoid inhalation of vapors.  Avoid eye and skin contact.  Flush affected areas with large quantities of water.  Obtain medical attention for eyes. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for additional safe handling information.
